As a strategic advisor, Renee has guided organizations through intricate legal challenges, ensuring compliance while cultivating a culture of engagement. Her expertise is reinforced by her memberships in the Pennsylvania and Texas Bars, along with ongoing legal education in employment law.
A Perspective Earned Through Service
During her time in the U.S. Army, Renee had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, service branches, and military personnel from other countries. These experiences broadened her perspective and enhanced her ability to approach situations from multiple viewpoints. In addition to serving as an Army EW/Signal Intelligence Voice Interceptor (98G-QB), Renee also took on a position as a clerk in the headquarters company, providing her first exposure to HR operations. This role became the foundation for launching her successful career in human resources.

Since her time in the service, Renee Shiraishi has over 20 years of experience in managing employee relations. She has handled complex investigations into employee complaints, Title VII claims, and compliance issues, making sure they are resolved quickly and equitably.
Skilled in Mediation and Conflict Resolution
Over the course of her career, Renee has expertly managed performance programs, including crafting performance improvement plans, handling disciplinary actions, and coaching leaders on performance management. She has completed the basic 40-hour mediation course and is currently pursuing accreditation through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. Her mediation skills have significantly enhanced communication and effectively resolved workplace disputes for numerous clients.
